Dr. Marianne Bailey

Dr. Bailey is the owner of Queenstown Veterinary Hospital. She grew up in southern Maryland and completed grade school in Calvert County. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Auburn University and then a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine 4 years later. Her special interests include surgery and geriatric care. Dr. Bailey understands that as pets age they require a different kind of veterinary care and the importance of wellness plans for geriatric pets, as she recently said goodbye to her 17-year-old Labrador Molly that was her family dog growing up. Since graduating vet school, Dr. Bailey has been dedicated to making sure Molly, and other geriatric dogs, live comfortably in their senior years. She lives in the Annapolis area with her daschund Maggie. Before coming to Queenstown Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Bailey worked in Anne Arundel County. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Maryland Veterinary Medicine Association (MVMA) and the Anne Arundel Veterinary Association. She founded the Eastern Shore Veterinary Medical Association in 2016.

Dr. Heather Myers

Dr. Myers grew up in central Pennsylvania and has always loved animals. As an undergraduate student at Juniata College, she participated in 2 summer internships at the Chesapeake Wildlife Sanctuary in Bowie, MD. After receiving her veterinary degree at The Ohio State University, she worked at a small animal clinic in OH for 1 year before relocating to Edgewater with her husband, Chris, where she has been working at South Arundel Veterinary Hospital since 2004. She and her husband have recently moved to Chester with their 2 Beagles, Posie & Basil. Dr. Myers enjoys all aspects of her job, but has a special interest in Dermatology and Geriatric Medicine. She loves all cats and dogs, but has a soft spot for beagles! In her spare time, she enjoys running & has completed several half marathons with Dr. Bailey. She also enjoys traveling with her husband & loves reading a good book when she can find the time.

Dr. Janice Tesi

Dr. Tesi is an eastern shore native who moved back to Maryland in 2011 to be closer to home, family and the water. After graduating from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, she attended Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Upon graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Tesi spent several years practicing medicine in Virginia. During her time in Virginia, she became more interested in complimentary medicine and completed her acupuncture and Tui Na training at the Chi Institute in Florida. She continues to enjoy living back on the eastern shore with her husband, two young children, three dogs and four cats.

Cindy has been working at Queenstown Vet Hospital since 2003. She moved to Centreville in 1996, along with her husband, Steve, and sons, Troy and Zach. She has a Min Pin named Ray, a bull mastiff named Bella, and two orange Tabby cats, Izzy and Eddie. Her favorite part of working here is the close interactions with all the sweet animals and getting to know their wonderful owners. Her favorite hobby is being with all her loving animal companions, gardening, and enjoying Ravens football, of which she is a #1 fan.

CJ is currently working part time with us while he attends classes to become a registered veterinary technician. We first met him when he came to us as an intern through Chesapeake College's Vet Assistant program. He has since completed the program and is looking forward to being accepted into the Vet Tech program at Community College of Baltimore County in the fall of 2014. You may also recognize him from Canine County Club, a local boarding facility, where he had worked as a kennel attendant and receptionist since 2005. CJ has been around animals his whole life including birds, fish, rabbits, cats, and dogs. He currently has a 14 year old sun conure named Skittles and a 9 year old lab mix named Tucker. We hope to teach CJ as much as we can and give guidance throughout his journey in becoming a certified veterinary technician.

Stephanie joined our staff in 2014  but has been in the veterinary industry since 1987. Her favorite part of her job is surgery and patient care. Stephanie lives in Henderson with her 6 dogs, 2 cats and her horse Brady. She enjoys horseback riding and gardening in her free time.
